Job Description :
As a warehouse manager you will play a key role in operations by:

 



  • Recruiting, onboarding, training, mentoring, and scheduling warehouse associates, leads, and assistant supervisors.

  • Maintaining an active presence on the distribution floor to enhance operational awareness and foster strong relationships with associates.

  • Cultivating an engaging and enjoyable work environment by promoting appreciation, recognition, and positive reinforcement.

  • Prioritizing the safety of all team members by adhering to and enforcing safety guidelines and protocols.

  • Ensuring optimal staffing levels and strategically allocating resources across various areas as needed.

  • Overseeing the timely receipt of finished goods into inventory.

  • Driving team performance to achieve daily shipping goals within budgetary constraints.

  • Establishing and upholding internal controls to maintain accurate inventory records.

  • Monitoring and managing team performance to meet key operational metrics (KPIs).

  • Developing and analyzing data to prepare monthly reports aimed at identifying inefficiencies and increasing throughput.

  • Championing continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture that encourages creativity, collaboration, and positive change, while identifying and implementing cost savings and process enhancements.

  • Collaborating closely with departments such as purchasing, quality control, manufacturing, logistics, and finance to resolve operational challenges.

  • Leading and managing projects, including Warehouse Management System (WMS) upgrades and other key initiatives.

  • Executing operational plans with urgency to meet performance and budgetary goals while ensuring clear communication and coordination across teams.


Required Qualifications :
 

  • Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and guide teams effectively.

  • Experience managing projects, including planning and execution.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to input, retrieve, and interpret data effectively.

  • Proficiency in computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and creating dynamic spreadsheets with formulas and pivot tables.

  • Familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications such as Word for documentation and Outlook for email and scheduling, ensuring seamless workflow management.
